The frame on the clock applet is always shown, even if show frame is unchecked. Xfce version is 4.4.1

I don't think I ever saw this. Are you using a special Gtk theme, perhaps? Does it happen with other themes as well?

You're correct, it seems like it only happens with this theme, which is Gentle LT. Any idea on how to fix the theme?

Well, it basically means the theme is not drawing the frame, or perhaps in the wrong color.  Anyway, you could try to ask the theme author.  Or even the Xfce mailing list, because maybe someone else has seen the same problem and knows a solution.

Thanks for the report. As far as I can tell it is not an Xfce problem, but please reopen if you still believe there is something wrong.
