Description Michael Seiler 2007-08-06 22:56:32 CEST
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070803 Firefox/2.0.0.6 (Swiftfox)
Build Identifier:

While running avant-window-navigator (any of the SVN/BZR builds from the last week or so) and XFWM4(-SVN), windows cannot be focused at all while using Click to Focus behaviour. Enabling focus-stealing prevention does nothing to prevent this.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Run XFWM4 (with or without compositing)
2.Run AWN
3.Try to click on any window

Actual Results:
Window focuses for maybe a tiny fraction of a second.

Expected Results:
Window should have focused.

Arch Linux
libwnck 2.18.3
xfwm4-SVN
avant-window-navigator-bzr

I filed a bug with the awn folks, and someone mentioned I should file a bug here because of possible wnck differences.

This is because AWN raises itself at every event, which is wierdo to say the least (It's a dock anyway!).

Fixed in trunk with rev. 26060.
