I'm using some parts of XFCE on Debian Sid. Version of thunar-volman is 0.1.2 (is there some newer version for Debian unstable? I can't find it in repositories...). I'm not able to use thunar-volman, because whenever I try to mount some of my USB drives (flash drive, camera, etc.), I got an error message that I'm not privileged for mounting this. I tried to execute exo-mount in terminal window, with parameters -d /dev/sda1 - and same error message poped out. I also reported to this bug as a bug for libexo (sorry for cross-posting, I was not sure where to enter this bug). With pmount (which I used with thunar-volman before exo-mount appeared), it works. I didn't find any way to disable exo-mount and use pmount again in thunar-volman... Maybe take this as an item in wishlist - some configuration option for thunar-volman, what program it should use for mounting - when the default one is not working...
