Reproducable in Ubuntu Feisty Fawn
The underline doesnt not render correctly(fully) over spaces in vim.

This works fine from xterm although.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. $vim somefile
2. :set cursorline
3. no underline under spaces/tabs

Actual Results:  
no underline under spaces/tabs

Expected Results:  
spaces should have underline

Ok guys, this seems to work fine 0.2.5.4beta2 (ubuntu edgy), so something broke this in 0.2.6 ?!

Unlikely, esp. since it works fine here with both 0.2.6 and 0.2.7svn. Terminal itself doesn't do any drawing, so this is more of a bug in VTE.

Guys, sorry this is a bug in VTE, i've downgraded to libvte9_0.14.1-0ubuntu1_i386.deb (edgy) and this has fixed the issue.
