Hi,

I'd love xfce-terminal to restore completely its previous state after logging out and logging in (at session restore). It would require to save the buffer and display it when session is restored. I'd like to be in the same directory after session restore than before having logged out as well.

It would be a killer feature !

That'd sure be a cool feature, unfortunately not something that can be done in a terminal emulator. That'd require session support from the applications running within the terminal, i.e. from the shell and other cli apps.

Well, maybe being logged in in $pwd is a bit too much, but just "displaying" the content of the terminal window once it's restored doesn't involve anything from the shell or cli apps => I was just asking to *display* the terminal output, that's it.
