i have selected to start gnome services on login because i use gnome-keyring for example. this stuff works pretty good but .desktop files in /etc/xdg/autostart which have the field
OnlyShowIn=GNOME;
aren't executed. they aren't even added to xfce's autostart editor.
i'd appreciate it, if those .desktop files would be executed on session start too, if you start gnome services.
this would make using things like gnome-network-manager, gnome-power-manager and bluez-gnome much easier in xfce.

I think we should watch the gnome and kde toggle options for this. This should allow gnome/kde in OnlyShowIn too (both settings as well in xfce4-session).
