Hi, a debian user reported that on a 1024x768 display, if he would use a 1000x750 wallpaper (which is 4:3 too) using the "scaled" option of xfdesktop, he would have a 1px band on bottom and right edges of the screen. I don't have a 4:3 display so can't reproduce with his wallpaper, but tried with 1200x801 picture, for my 1280x854 display, and I can confirm this. There are pictures of what he means available on Debian bug report if you want to check. Regards, -- Yves-Alexis Perez
Can't reproduce this here. I have a 1024x768 screen as well, and sunset2.jpg fills the screen as it should. Even added a printf to the code, and it printed the correct size.
Yeah, I now have a 1400×1050 screen and I can't see those bands even when using 1024×768. I've asked the original but reporter about this, but I guess this can be closed safely. Cheers,
Good by me...
