When I add the mixer to the panel, the config file is modified and it is working fine. When I reboot, the mixer is often (not always) not in the panel anymore and I have to re-add it (neraly) each time. A config file xfce4-mixer-`date +%s`.rc is created each time, and when running, panels.xml is fine. So why when the panel is launched it is not back as before ? BTW, the mixer's options has no effect (I guess it should display only selected channels). That happened with all versions, and currently I'm with debian's 4.4.1.
Bad... but if the file is there, why shouldn't it load it? Strange... If you want, put a breakpoint at <http://svn.xfce.org/xfce/xfce4-mixer/branches/xfce_4_4/panel-plugin/plugin.c> line 533.

(In reply to comment #2) > (<http://svn.xfce.org/index.cgi/xfce/xfce4-mixer/branches/xfce_4_4/panel-plugin/plugin.c?revision=29178&view=markup>) Well, I don't have this problem anymore, since I don't use this version anymore (4.4.2.1). So I won't be able to check what you ask. And since the bug is two years old, I think it should be closed because it is useless now. Thanks
