Build Identifier:

When I open a file from thunar, then close it, and then try to use the backspace key to go to the parent directory, nothing happens.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Thunar
2. Open a file (doubleclick or by using Enter-Key)
3. Close the application in which the file is displayed
4. Thunar is now focused again. But one cannot use backspace to go to parent dir.

Am experiencing the same behavior here. However, it should be noted that the bug is only reproducible in "Detailed List" mode.

I can confirm this aswell
Comment 3 haarp 2010-01-23 20:56:23 CET
Update: Actually, selecting a file is already enough to disable backspace for me

Works fine here. Please reopen if this is still an issue with the latest Thunar release.
