Xfce4-panel

Description Michael Pobega 2007-02-04 18:27:05 CET
After installing Xfce4 on Debian Etch none of my system icons appear. My volume manager's icon is missing, as well as the logout button, all of the icons in my settings menu, and the icons when I try to add a something new to the panel.

A screenshot can be seen at http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/8075/noiconsst0.png if I am not explaining thoroughly enough, and I'm hoping to get this fixed soon.

Don't they appear or are they not installed? Try running

  gtk-update-icon-cache -f /usr/share/icons/<Theme_name>

to update the icon change. If the icons are installed this is not a panel bug.

The file xfce4-autostart-editor.desktop says:
Icon=xfce4-autostart-editor
It belongs to the package xfce4-session, but this package does not contain such an icon. Therefore updating the icon cache will not help.

Just merged the icon from trunk. Xfce4-autostart-editor.png should be available in Xfce 4.2.3.

The icons not showing is not an Xfce problem, closing this bug.
