Please make that spin button less "sensitive". For older music, it is still possible to use the right click on the spin-button (if set to increments of 50 years or so). To be more precise, the spin button start quite ok, but after a few years, it accelerates like hell. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
That's the default GTK+ behavior, which I won't change by a dirty hack. It's fine the way it is.
According to GTK tutorial, the acceleration can be adjusted. Look for the paragraph on "climb_rate" on this page: http://www.gtk.org/tutorial/x969.html Just a remark: I think you should not close bugs so fast, before discussion happens.
Sorry for this. You're right and I now adjusted the acceleration (reduced it from 1.0 to 0.0) in SVN.
Fixed with revision 2458 in SVN: 2007-01-22 Jannis Pohlmann <jannis@xfce.org> * thunar-plugin/audio-tags-page.c: Reduce year spin button acceleration to 0.0 instead of 1.0. Fixes bug #2777.
