User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1 Build Identifier: If I insert a MultiMediaCard into the slot of my laptop, no icon pops up on the desktop. Also Thunar does not recognize it. I would expect similar behaviour as for an USB-memorystick (which works perfectly), since it is also a block device. I think the according kernel drivers are loaded correctly and udev, hal etc. are doing their jobs too, because the Gnome DE does show an MMC icon on the desktop as well as in the Nautilus file manager. This lack occurs on both, my Xubuntu installation and my ArchLinux installation. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. insert MMC in th SD/MMC slot 2. 3. Actual Results: 1. no MMC symbol on the desktop 2. No MMC symbol in thunar Expected Results: 1. MMC symbol on the desktop (as it's done with an USB-memorystick) 2. MMC symbol in thunar (as it's done with an USB-memorystick)
