please add a "use system font" option and check it by default to use the default font used in the terminal.

the default font for mousepad is monospace 12 which is too large imho, i set it to size 10 for terminals. xchat-gnome has this option to use the default terminal font and size. it makes the font settings a bit more consistent in the used programs.

I would like this as well. In my opinion the systemwide default setting is there for a reason.

Closing this bug because the "Use system monospace font" has been present in Mousepad since long long ago.
But this option is not working properly, we're handling this on bug 12485.
