It would be nice when some kind of border would be drawn around the desktops. Else, it's difficulty to distinguish them from the rest of the panel which has the same background color.

E.g. see http://ensc.de/xfce4/pager-xfce4.png for current layout (note the desktop in the upper right corner).

See http://ensc.de/xfce4/pager-gnome1.png for an example how it could be better.

We're using the libwnck pager (same as gnome) in trunk.
