Description Dejan Cabrilo 2006-12-06 12:29:04 CET
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061026 BonEcho/2.0
Build Identifier:

Even after I change the settings in Keyboard layout switcher to "Show layout as text", and I save the session on exit (if it makes any difference), whenever XFCE is started, settings go back to "Show layout as image". It works in that session, but not after restart.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Keyboard layout switcher (right click) / Properties / Show layout as, set to "text".
2. Restart XFCE.

Actual Results:
"Show layout as" setting goes back to "image" and it displays flags instead of text.

Expected Results:
To remember the setting from the last session and display the text.

i have the same problem. not only flags setting, but none of the other settings in the configuration file are used by the xkb-plugin. it saves the config correctly but upon the next startup, it just ignores it and saves back into the config it's defaults.

The problem is fixed in revision 2199 in svn.

There will be a new release soon including the fix.

If it's fixed, it can be closed. I'll release a new version of the plugin later today.
