Description Joseph Bales 2006-12-01 14:17:51 CET
There is no ability to add a Gmail account in Mailwatch 1.0.1. This also effects the version I downloaded and installed from SVN on 12-1-06. I am reporting this as a bug because the functionality is stated to be part of the plugin. When I go into Properties and click on the Add button, Gmail is not one of the options listed. I am running Vectorlinux and have confirmed this bug with at least one other user on their forum.

Gmail support requires gnutls.
Comment 2 Joseph Bales 2006-12-01 18:12:12 CET
This was Vectorlinux 5.8 rc3. Gnutls is installed.

Please examine the output of 'configure' for clues, and attach config.log above. If Vectorlinux is a binary distro, make sure that you have the appropriate gnutls-dev package (or whatever) installed.

Any update?

My assumption here is that you're using an unsupported version of gnutls, or you don't have the appropriate gnutls-dev package installed. It does indeed work, so you'll need to examine configure output and/or config.log to figure out why it's not working on your system.
