When trying to use the desktop menu via right click, xfdesktop sometimes misses the click (although menu closes as things worked) and fails to launch the selected application.  It usually only happens once, occasionally you have to try 2-3 times to get the selected app to launch.  Completely random and not application specific that I've noticed.

Hmm, this bug used to be present, but I haven't seen this in a long time.  Is there anything printed to console when it fails?  Try killing xfdesktop, and run it from a terminal for a while.

What version of xfce/xfdesktop?

Running xfdesktop in term now to see if I get any output, running Xfce from svn (rebuilt @ r24007).  Several other people in #xfce seem to have noticed the same kinda of behavior reported.

This should be fixed on trunk with rev 26278.  Please reopen if not.
