I just installed xfce 4.4rc2 (after using beta2).

When I do a 'xfdesktop -reload' while the background image file on disk
changed or while using the backdrop list feature of xfdesktop, the
desktop background gets updated but *not* the background of some applications
using the pseudo transparency feature such as Terminal (of xfce 4.4rc2)
or gkrellm with the invisible theme - they keep the old image,
even when moving the window.

xfdesktop is:
This is xfdesktop version 4.3.99.2, running on Xfce 4.3.99.2.
Built with GTK+ 2.8.10, linked with GTK+ 2.8.10.
Build options:
    Desktop Menu: enabled
    Desktop Icons: enabled
    Desktop File Icons: enabled

If I use the (still existing, not recompiled) beta2 binary
(just this; the libs are from rc2), then everything works as expected.

This is xfdesktop version 4.3.90.2, running on Xfce 4.3.99.2.
Built with GTK+ 2.8.10, linked with GTK+ 2.8.10.
Build options:
    Desktop Menu: enabled
    Desktop Icons: enabled
