It will snap using ALT-RightClick. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create Panel 2. Start XMMS 3. Click and hold title bar and drag towards panel Actual Results: XMMS does not snap to the panel and moves beyond panel as if snapping wasn't enabled. Expected Results: XMMS to snap to panel Running XMMS 1.2.10 on Xubuntu.
XMMS is a border-less window, the move are managed by the application itself, not the window manager. The application moves its own window by itself...

As for why it works with alt+click, it's because Alt+Click is managed by the window manager (Alt+click is grabbed by the WM and not handled by XMMS)... Keep in mind that XMMS is unmaintained theses days, and its implementation is older than the EMMH standard that GNOME, KDE and Xfce uses nowadays. If you want the move to be managed by the WM, simple enable "Show window manager decorations" option in XMMS settings (XMMS menu->Options->Preferences, "Options" tab, select "Show window manager decorations").
