User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.0.6) Gecko/20060803 Firefox/1.5.0.6
Build Identifier:

when selecting "Settings", "Window Manager Settings", Advanced tab, and "Wrap Workspaces when the pointer reaches a screen edge" along with "settings", "Panel Settings", and AutoHide, the panel will only display after many tries when moving the pointer to the bottom of the screen... turn off the "wrap workspaces when the pointe reaches a screen edge" and it works right away

(I have done many searches for "wrap" or "autohide" and nothing comes up, but I would bet that this has already been fixed in a later release?)

Reproducible: Always

I'm afraid this is a fundamental incompatibility between those two options. Both the window manager and the panel are waiting for mouse events at the screen edge. The window manager will catch the mouse event first, so the panel doesn't unhide. Sorry, but I don't think this can be fixed.

... but it works in Xfce 4.3.99.1...

Heh, that would be news to me ;-)

It also depends on the workspace layout and whether xfwm follows the geometry of the pager. It really should not be possible, as far as I know...

I second that.

Resolving this bug. I don't think this can be fixed, considering the way Xfce is currently designed.
