I've tried to reproduce this, with 106 mousepad windows, 318 thunars and 44 terminals, but i couldn't... Xfce4-panel (actually netk) was thinking quite hard, but after a while (say 15 seconds) everything was normal and the memory consumption was normal.

Maybe you're using some 'weird' cflags? Anyhow, if you can reproduce this, please attach a backtrace (you can find help on the bugzilla main page), that's the only way this problem can be solved.

Just a small note on my previous post: Libxfcegui4 should also be compiled with debug, because of the taskbar/netk code.

I'm afraid we can't reproduce this. Please reopen the report if you have more information that could help us find out what is going on.

Note to Nick: 318 thunars?? omg, that's insane ;-)
