I compiled al parts from the cvs tree. Followd this build order: 1. libxfce4util 2. libxfcegui4 3. libxfce4mcs 4. xfce-mcs-manager 5. all other modules (you have to install xfce4 panel before compiling panel plugins) But when I try to start X then the following error occurs: /usr/local/bin/xfce4-session: error while loading shared libraries: libxfcegui4.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
this is a problem with your libtool; i'd suggest you either upgrade or rerun autogen.sh. the version we use can be found here: http://xfce.org/archive/tools/
