Hi, i'm using xfce with xubuntu 6.06. the xfce app menu is missing. The icon is still available on the panel but i can t revert to the default settings. what's your opinion ? it use to work great thanks francois
what do you mean by missing ? empty ? If this is empty, please take a look into ~/.config/xfce4/desktop and see if menu.xml exists if it's there check its size.
i have etc/xdg/xfce4/desktop.xml -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 3398 2006.05.29 is that the right path ?? in fact the menu is not empty, when i click on the app icon the re is simply nothing? going back to default does not work either

i removed the file ~/.config/xfce4/desktop/menu.xml and the menu re-appeared, everything is working fine now i didn't realize that this was a known issue described in the xubuntu Doc sorry for wasting your time francois
