It only occurs when a new directory is created in a composition. It seems to be a problem with the contents field in the treeview for the composition being to narrow to fit the words "New Directory" - it resizes, but the highlighted area is only as large as the old margin. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Xfburn and create a new composition 2. Create a new directory 3. Observe the new entry
Created attachment 723 This is a screenshot of the behaviour. This is a screenshot of the behaviour. It's hard to get because clicking outside the window seems to "fix" the problem by forcing a repaint.
i have the same problem here, at first i'm thinking about a gtk bug i'm waiting for gtk 2.10 to be unmasked on gentoo to try with the latest gtk (may be i'll unmask it just to try). i tries some quick workarounds but couldn't get it fixed
Seems reasonable. I also have Gtk 2.8. Specifically 2.8.17 Really should have put that in the bug report...
it happens with gtk 2.10 too, gonna look deeper
Apparently the problem only appears with the first creation of a directory, the next ones are ok (gtk 2.10). Can you confirm this with gtk 2.8 ?
Sorry to take so long to get back to you. Unfortunately, still on Gtk+ 2.8, all newly created directories show this bug.
Thank you for reporting this bug. Can you still reproduce with newest gtk & xfburn in trunk?
This bug was still visible in trunk @ rev. 4893 with gtk 2.12.8 . However, I just worked around it by increasing the minimum column size so that the bug is not triggered in rev. 4894. pollux, let me know if you have any objections to closing this bug now.
No objections, closing now. Feel free to comment and I'll reopen it.
