When I change the icon of a desktop launcher (i.e. .desktop entry in ~/Desktop) like so right-click on desktop icon -> "Edit Launcher" -> click "Icon:" button -> select new icon -> click "Save" to save changes and close the dialog the desktop launcher still shows the old icon. The respective entry in the .desktop file is made correctly, but the icon shown is not updated. This is not the case when creating a new launcher and selecting an initial icon. In that case the chosen icon is shown immediately. Cheers, Nick.

At the moment I get a permanent "svn: Can't open file 'xfdesktop/.svn/lock': Permission denied" As soon as I can check out again, I'll confirm the fix. Nick.
