User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060614 Firefox/1.5.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060614 Firefox/1.5.0.4 Whenever I have a Terminal window snaped to the bottom of my desktop and I open a second tab, Terminal resizes its window to add the 2 tabs under the window decorations, which puts the last line of output off screen. I would prefer that Terminal simply resized it's output area (like firefox) rather than the entire window. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start up Terminal and move it to the bottom of your desktop. 2. Run a command that takes up the entire terminal: $ man man 3. Open a new tab 4. Go back to the first tab. Actual Results: The last line is off screen now. And the window needs to be moved up so that the last line is visable again. Expected Results: The window is not resized. Therefore, the user does not need to do anything to it.
