Hi, In the panel plugin we have a little bar to control the volume. Well it is not really easy to control the volume with this bar unless you have a big panel. I had prefer something like in Xfmedia: there is a button and when you click on it, it opens a little slider. This slider lets you set the volume more accordingly. Regards, Mike
feel free to write an application like that, using the xfce4-mixer stuff as base. Should be half an hour work at max. Then use it in a normal launcher.
or make UI mockup pictures how it's supposed to work, notably: - how would the panel plugin look then - what happens when clicked - how to get to the full mixer from there and where to set what the full mixer is
Mmh, the mouse wheel is doing the job very good. Actually I had like to close this bug (INVALID or so), because there is no need for a slider. Cheers.
