Failed to Execute Default Mail Reader with Send-to Menu
Status:
CLOSED: FIXED

Description Shayne O'Connor 2006-06-14 14:30:19 CEST
Not sure if it's fully implemented yet, but I tried using the Send-to: Mail Recipient option in the context-menu, but it replies "Failed to execute default Mail Reader ... input/output error". The terminal displays this:

/usr/bin/env: perl -w: No such file or directory

I have both perl and env installed (as well as latest Xfce SVN) on FC5

I have tried with Balsa, Thunderbird, Evolution, and Opera set as Prefferred email clients - only Opera didn't give the message, and opened up a New Email Message (but failed to attach the file).

The send-to: Desktop option works fine.

Try this patch for libexo. Should fix the problem.

	* exo-helper/helpers/exo-compose-mail-0.3: For some reasons, not all
