Scroll wheel to wrap transition desktop workspaces is broken
Status:
RESOLVED: INVALID

Description Ken Dreyer 2006-06-05 14:27:16 CEST
I use the standard four workspaces. When the mouse hovers over an empty space on the desktop, the scroll wheel works to transition between workspaces 1 and 2; 2 and 3; 3 and 4, but it does not work to transition between 1 and 4. This worked in my installation of 4.2 but seems broken in 4.4BETA. Also, this "wrapping" between 1 and 4 works fine when I use the scroll wheel while hovering over the graphical pager, but not while hovering over the desktop.

The symptoms seem kind of similar to this: http://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421

Distro: CentOS 4.3
Kernel: 2.6.9-34.EL

Did you check the "Wrap workspaces depending on the actual desktop layout" and "Wrap workspaces when the first or last workspace is reached" from the WM tweaks settings?

Ah, that does it. I think the pager behavior confused me. Sorry for the bother, and thanks for the help.
