According to the XDS protocol specification the source must provide the filename only, without the path. Currently Xarchiver, because of the way it has been designed, supplies the path also causing an error to arise by the program in which the filename is dropped to.

Fixed in svn r22217. Thanks to David for replying to my question to the ml. His answer opened my mind.
