You can only configure the core pointer atm. This could be very usefull for laptop users with an usb/ps2 mouse and a touchpad.

I don't think you can access multiple pointers in X. Xorg/XFree86 allow to plug several physical devices, but you can change their settings through the standrds X routines (like xset doesn't let you set the settings per physical devices either).

I'd guess that this is a Xorg task (if possible at all)
