Description schibalsky 2004-05-03 15:46:39 CEST
Resident memory usage of the panel is constantly growing.
It starts with using around 7m and goes up to 44m.
When restarting the panel with kill -USR1, it starts again with ca 7m.

* The fsguard (free space checker) plugin had a mem leak in version 0.1.0, but
this is fixed in 0.2.0. What version are you using?

* What happens if you remove the plugins?

It's almost certainly one of the plugins. Try removing the plugins one by one,
until you find which one causes the memleak. Could be the clipboard manager.

As papermoon mentioned I was using fsguard 0.1.
I'm using 0.2 now and the big leak is gone.
But the resident memory size is still growing slowly,
maybe another plugin has a leak.
I will report later or should memory leaks in plugins reported elsewhere?

Thanks. Please report them here. If the plugin author is not reading it, we'll
know where to find him ;-) I'd like to stay informed about plugin bugs.

No more replies, so I'll assume it's fixed.
