Also there are problems with displaying the date in the "Beginn"-button, also for the "Ende"-button. And so I can't add a date. Clicking on Today in the date picker dialog works partly, it chooses the right day and month, but the year is still 63143. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Double-click on a date in the calendar 2. Click on "Neu" 3. Click on "Beginn" Actual Results: Current year is 63143 Expected Results: Current year is 2006 ;-) This happens with locale de_DE on Debian Sarge, orage from Beta1 and SVN trunk from today.
Created attachment 550 Locale problems and year 63143
verified. I see the bug. Will fix (not trivial).
base reason is that German translation has made the date formatting string longer and we get garbage now.
Fixed now in SVN (Committed revision 21689.)
The locale settings seems to work. Now I'm able to add events and even the alarm works. But the calendar itself seems to be broken. If a click to the systray icon only one pixel appears.
Could you be a bit more specific. If you start orage from command line, do you see the calendar? If you click the systrya icon, what exactly do you see? Have you tried clicking the orageclock panel plugin? an picture would be nice, but this sounds like a gtk problem. What version of gtk are you using? And actually this is different bug, so it could be nice if you could duplicate this and open a new one from this problem.
Opened new bug #1816
*** Bug 1912 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Moving all bugs to new Orage product.
