For most of the themes whom have round corners, black is filling up what actually
should be merged with the background. 


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. switch the theme, to a theme with round corners.

Actual Results:

what version of xfwm4?

It really looks like you're missing the XShape extension. Open up a terminal and type:

xdpyinfo | grep -i shape

You should see:

    SHAPE

If not, make sure you have the "extmod" listed in the "Module" section of the xorg.conf/XF86Config file.
