Created attachment 9871 copy to clipboard example See picture. If "New Empty File" is selected my copy to clipboard does not work as expected. Expecting: "/home/test/TEMP/" But result actually: "/home/test/TEMP/example/New Empty File" If no file is selected in the file pane it works correctly. But i think the mouse selection should be preferred.
Thanks for the report. I cannot reproduce this bug with either the master branch or 1.8.14. It would help if you could say which version of thunar you are using. Does this bug always happen when you do this, or only some of the time?
It seems random. Can not really see a pattern. I am using 1.8.14 (Suse Thumbleweed. Fully updated) Steps: * Browse to folder * Select 1 file (focus) * Directly go to the "browse bar" -> dubbleclick after last word to select everything * ctrl-c Tried different things, really do not see a pattern * position of mouse. ctrl-c vs rightmouse->copy * focus (lost an back) * selecting text by hold left mouse and selecting backwards
Ok, so for the case where you use Ctrl^C to copy, this is bug 13680, which has been fixed (the fix will be in thunar 1.8.15 and 1.9.0, see the last comment in that bug). Just to confirm, do you get this bug when you copy with right click then "copy"?
I think you are correct. right click copy works all the time. Thanks for the replies! Changed the state of the ticket to duplicate.
