This feature has never worked and it's kinda annoying. Steps to reproduce: 1) Make a selection in any X.org application 2) Close this application or application window 3) Switch to another application 4) Middle mouse click: nothing gets pasted It would be great if you fixed/implemented it.
The option to sync selections is *not* enabled.
