Status:
RESOLVED: MOVED

Comments

Description Alexander Kurakin 2020-05-13 13:09:05 CEST
1. Take away read permission from a directory.
2. Open the directory in Thunar.
3. You get a "Permission denied" dialog an empty files list.
4. Bring read permission back to the directory (in a terminal).
5. Press <CTRL>+R to update the directory in Thunar.
6. Expected: the directory's files list.
   Actual: an empty files list.

I can confirm this bug.

Would it not be better to jump to the parent directory or home after the error dialog?
Comment 2 Alexander Kurakin 2020-05-21 12:50:25 CEST
AFAIR, the parent directory will be similar to standard behavior.
