After last update, my Manjaro Xfce+Compiz have problem with volume change and muting.

If I try to change volume over keyboard shortcuts (-Volume or +Volume or Mute key), Xfce Panel PulseAudio Plugin bugs (Does not respond to clicking on it or scrolling), only one change will happen (one increment of sound up or down or mute and won't respond to next button press).

Same will happen if I scroll over speaker icon in Xfce panel (Xfce Panel PulseAudio Plugin).

Only way to change volume without bugging out is to click on speaker icon in Xfce panel (Xfce Panel PulseAudio Plugin) and move volume slider. Ofc, this can't be done if I buged it earlier.

After some time it will work again without me doing anything (unbug) (10-30seconds).

Some times some button presses will be executed after unbuging, suddenly increasing or muting volume.

Changeing volume in alsamixer is instant, but will bug PulseAudio or Plugin in same way as keyboard shortcuts and scrolling over Xfce Panel PulseAudio Plugin.

I also see deafult sound card in alsamixer, but can't remember if I had it before. There were ofc HDA NVidia and HD-Audio Generic

Sound is fine. Only I have difficulty changing volume.

In app volume change is working without problem (changing volume in yt video player or and other audio/video players).

Is this happening to anyone else? Does someone know how to fix this? If you know some topic where this is solved, please, point me to it, since I wasn't able to find solution anywhere else (googled it, duckduckgo it and searched Manjaro forum as well).

Thank you for your help.

Apparently right clicking Xfce Panel PulseAudio Plugin -> Properties
Uncheking "Show notifications when volume changes" "solves" the problem.

But still, you won't be notified. Wonder why?

So, just checked xfce4-notifyd, it bugs when I try to "Show preview", it appears it is xfce4-notifyd problem.

Just realized notifyd isn't started by systemctl, so I guess this isn't notifyd problem since I can run it with: systemctl --user start xfce4-notifyd.service, and works great after that. I added it to autostart manualy.
