Hello,

I'm not totally sure whether this bug is really the fault of xfce4-power-manager or of chromium. However, whenever I stop or close a HTML5 video my screen turns black. I assume this is somehow related to the chromiums block of the power manager.
For now my workaround is to enable the presentation mode.

Also experiencing this bug. Using the debug output I've identified that it happens when a program uninhibits power management after previously inhibiting. Chrome causes this as it inhibits power management / screensaver while playing video, however it can be triggered by any program that uses the same feature. Can trigger the bug at will with a tool like caffeine-ng.

The bug makes browsing sites like twitter a nightmare. My temporary workaround has been to use caffeine-ng to keep power management inhibited while I'm browsing with chrome, however this is obviously not ideal.

I'm using Xfce Power Manager 1.7.0, and the bug happens somewhere during this sequence:

TRACE[xfpm-inhibit.c:423] xfpm_inhibit_un_inhibit(): UnHibit message received
TRACE[xfpm-inhibit.c:88] xfpm_inhibit_has_inhibit_changed(): Inhibit removed
TRACE[xfpm-power.c:954] xfpm_power_inhibit_changed_cb(): is_inhibit FALSE, screensaver_inhibited TRUE, presentation_mode FALSE
TRACE[xfpm-power.c:979] xfpm_power_inhibit_changed_cb(): is_inhibit FALSE, screensaver_inhibited FALSE, presentation_mode FALSE

This sounds like a duplicate - please check with the latest release of xfce4-screensaver.

Yes, with xfce4-screensaver-git this seems fixed, thank you :)
