Telegram Desktop not hiding

I am not sure why but Telegram Desktop tray icon is not hiding. 

See attached screenshot.

Anyone else with that issue?

Are you sure it's in the notification area and not the Status Notifier Plugin? (For me it appears in the latter and I think it does by default if that one is part of the panel)

Presuming that it was the statusnotifier plugin since there were no more updates.
