After startup of Keyboard Layouts Plugin v8.0.1 it does not work. Clicking or pressing layout switch key does nothing. Also the layout boots into non-primary layout. Fixable by opening layout settings and switch order of installed layouts there and back again. I am using English (US) with intl. ALtGr dead keys and Slovak (QWERTY) with English set as primary.

not exactly DUP because I can switch layouts using hotkey after I fix it by "opening layout settings and switch order of installed layouts there and back again." This fix lasts until next restart and the layout switcher is in the not listening state again.
So, what is the difference exactly? You both open the layout settings and do some changes to fix the problem.
the problem is that it's the same after restart. I can see 2 possible causes here: - it's broken and it starts in odd state ignorign settings - it's not saving changes or does not complain about problem saving changes I can check local config file if you tell me where to find.
I am running xfce4 on fedora 31 (if it helps) Also this is broken since upgrading from fedora 29 to fedora 30, but as fedora is rock solid I rebooted about 3 times since then so it was big issue for me. Now I decided to report it.

It looks like the settings are stored properly.
