filename column is too narrow when resized with a double-click

In detailed view mode, when I double-click on the separation between column categories, they are resized automatically to fit the longest entry.
But it doesn't work properly with the filename column.
Instead of having the filenames fully shown, they are shrunk to only 2 characters followed by an ellipsis.
