Feature Request: customize window shadow color
Status:
RESOLVED: MOVED

Comments

Description Peter Ries 2020-01-08 21:40:55 CET
With dark themes windows are hard to distinguish as the shadow is grayscale. This works well with bright themes, but with dark themes an e.g. bright blue shadow glow similar to KDE's Oxygen theme would be muchbetter to emphasis the active window.

i found a corresponding code in compositor.c

there are rgb and alpha values hard coded.

if values from the themerc file could be read and considered this would be a quick benefit.

no need cor a configuration gui. just a validation if values are float between 0 and 1
