Dear Developers, in Leafpad it was possible to enforce a certain encoding of the text file in the "Save-As" dialogue. Could this implemented in Mousepad? Thank you
I checked how the Encoding combo box in the "Open File" dialog works, but it was never properly implemented (no functionality). https://git.xfce.org/apps/mousepad/commit/mousepad/mousepad-window.c?id=375a246bf9f38733f368bfa05163734119b54168 So, this needs to be fixed also.
