After upgrading to exo 0.12.9 in Arch linux, I noticed Thunar now has extra padding around the files/directories when viewing in Compact List mode. Not sure if it's a bug with thunar or exo. Is there any way to change this back?

Looks like the padding was introduced in this commit: https://git.xfce.org/xfce/exo/commit/?id=6fcefce9f1e7bb34cb65290c37f889481a677130

You are right. Frankly - let's just revert that patch of mine. I consider it an ugly kludge; a quick and dirty fix, which obviously did not work well. My apologies.
