Mine usually says 180% and 00:00 when it's on AC power.

Using a dell inspiron 4150, kernel 2.6.15, debian linux

     Thermal 1: ok, 59.0 degrees C
  AC Adapter 1: on-line

There are some fixes applied in the 0.4.90.2 release, please reopen if it appears again.
