Created attachment 9149 debug log version 0.1.8, on Ubuntu 19.10, using sddm. --debug --no-daemon log attached. (After starting the program on the first try (lid close and reopen) the dialog showed, but on the second try it did not, and then I tried to reproduce this first-time-success, but it started to produce bug on every new start after that.) I've tried to debug further by building from source, I've set prefix but it still searches for helpers under /usr/local/libexec.
Probably a duplicate of bug 14782
Please test this again with the latest git master or the upcoming 0.1.9 release. I believe this should now be resolved.
