I have installed the devel version of xfce4-panel on a XFCE 4.14 desktop, so it may not be relevant. But I have issues with the new autohide animation. Here is one of the issues that I can always reproduce: - empty desktop and default layout - open a window that doesn't overlap the bottom panel - move the window towards the bottom panel and trigger the animation - quickly remove the window before the animation is completed Expected results: - the panel goes up Actual results: - the panel goes up - the autohide animation starts again immediately - these two steps can recur several times - the panel goes beyond the bottom of the screen
I can still reproduce the issue with 4.15.1. Here are the other scenarios that happen randomly when the session starts: - the panel appears at the top left of the screen (instead of middle bottom) and slowly goes down until it disappears completely - the panel appears at the correct position (middle bottom), but slowly goes down until it disappears completely Moving the mouse where the panel should be doesn't do anything. To make the tip of the panel appear again, I have to drag a window near it.
I can not reproduce the issue anymore with the latest git version. Commits f9292c2f3b34c95e8a05d8fd31639dc5bc2b63a5 or e70f10732b5080f250ae50982b0e97e4f8725094 seem to have fixed it.
