I'm using a blank CD 1. I start a new Data Composition. 2. Click the Add Button 3. Pick a file (any size) from a few K to a couple of megabytes 4. As soon as I click the file the system segfaults $ xfburn ** Message: 17:38:30.198: No existing settings file, using default settings ** Message: 17:38:30.233: Using UDEV ** Message: 17:38:32.813: Using gstreamer transcoder. Segmentation fault (core dumped) If I drag and drop the files into xfburn it works fine. Able to burn disk, etc. -- I'm not sure if it is producing a core dump or not. If it is, perhaps suggest where it is as it isn't at the current directory.
can I have you re-test with 0.6.1?
I've asked the Mageia packagers to build it, I will let you know once I've installed it.
thank you, I see Debian Testing also have a build of 0.6.1 in their repos if you can work with a deb on an rpm based systems?
Followed up with the Mageia packaging team. Does this take a full Xfce stack upgrade or can they do individual application?
It does require GTK+3 3.22 or later and xfce 4.14 or later with GTK+3 support.
Packagers in Mageia built out new Xfce 0.6.1 and it worked successfully. You can close this out. Rene, Thank you very much for helping me out on this issue. Your response is greatly appreciated. Brian
You're welcome, and thank you for taking time to look into this.
