Hello 
I updated my debian box to XFCE 4.14 today. Only a few styles are able to choice (Adwaita, Adwaita dark, High contrast and Raleigh) all others did not work. Also the colour selection of the desktop background is not changeable.

Xfce 4.14 is using the GTK3 toolkit for its components. Therefore, themes with GTK3 support should be used now.

For the desktop color selection to have any effect you have to change the Style option to 'None'.
